Among the multitude of additives and modifiers used to compound rubber stock are hydrocarbon resins, commonly referred to as "Processing Aids." Resinall manufactures a range of both neutral and modified dicyclopentadiene hydrocarbon resins. The use of these resins is well established in many diverse applications, such as in rubber compounding, adhesives and various coatings.

These resins are seldom used alone, but usually in conjunction with other materials to modify or develop specific properties. In a number of applications these hydrocarbon resins compete with traditional rosin modified derivatives, mainly in, adhesives, coatings and printing inks.
